EnviroServ Year End Message

It is time to take stock of the past 12 months, ahead of a pause and reset for the start of a new year.

We have had some exciting moments this year - who will forget how our Springbok team brought home the Rugby World Cup for the second consecutive time, in a move which united our country as #StrongerTogether.

This is also a theme which resonates with EnviroServ, as the integration with our shareholders is progressing well. The addition of our French shareholder SUEZ has brought global experts to the greater group, and we are pleased that various platforms for the development, sharing and transfer of technical skills, knowledge, best practices and networking are working well. We hope this reflects in our service delivery to you as we aim to continue raising the waste game.

It has certainly been a busy year for our team, and I am proud to include several landfill
improvements, the shareholding acquisition of the Vissershok landfill in the Cape, and the
mobilisation of our Ugandan operations as some of the completed projects.

Demonstrating our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, EnviroServ continues to achieve a BBBEE Level 1 rating. This means that by doing business with us, your company gains various scorecard benefits, including preferential procurement recognition.

Once again, in lieu of sending Christmas cards, EnviroServ has made financial donations which will support the vulnerable in our society. Contributions have been made to Action for Blind and Disabled Children, Nazareth House, Meals on Wheels, Operation Smile and the United Cerebral Palsy Association of South Africa.

Please take note that EnviroServ operations, excluding critical operations, will be closed from Monday, December 25, 2023 until Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
