EnviroServ helps client achieve record recycling rates

At EnviroServ, a SUEZ company, sustainability is not simply a commitment — it’s a measurable outcome. Our recent collaboration with a major client in the Food and Beverage sector in the Western Cape demonstrates how partnership, expertise, and innovation can deliver outstanding results.

Working closely with the client, our sales and on-site recycling teams achieved a remarkable transformation: the diversion rate increased from 20% in June to 77% by September, surpassing the client’s original target of 50%. Over the same period, landfill volumes fell by 25%, while recycling volumes grew tenfold.

This success was underpinned by practical, hands-on support, including the deployment of a dedicated sorter on-site twice a week, significantly improving waste segregation and recovery efficiency. September also marked the highest rebate earned to date, reflecting the tangible value of improved recycling performance.
