Project Declarations for Carbon Credit Integrity

Enviroserv Waste Management is committed to maintaining the highest standards of transparency and environmental integrity in its carbon offset initiatives. To prevent any risk of double accounting or double claiming of carbon credits, we publicly declare the following active and upcoming projects under the Verra Verified Carbon Standard (VCS):

• Visserhok Landfill Site: A grouped carbon project currently in the process of registration on the Verra Registry. This project will capture and utilize landfill gas to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
• Chloorkop Landfill Site: An operational Landfill Gas Carbon Project registered and active since 2009, generating verified emission reductions.

These declarations ensure that emission reductions from each project are accounted for only once and are not claimed simultaneously under multiple mechanisms or by multiple parties. For any inquiries regarding these projects or verification documents, please contact our sustainability team.

Carbon credits may be issued through Verified Carbon Standard project #5666, for the greenhouse gas emission reductions associated with EnviroServ Waste Management’s grouped project in South Africa, pertaining to landfill gas capture, flaring and or utilisation.
