Any waste which requires disposal as part of the hazmat activities is assessed and classified according to the current waste regulations. EnviroServ has our own accredited laboratory which performs the necessary chemical analysis that for part of the assessment and classification process. This has the added advantage of being able to provide a more cost effective classification service to customers as well as ensuring quick turnaround times. Before any waste is disposed of, it is assessed to see if any or all of the material can be recovered, recycled or re-used. This may entail the extraction of waste oils, solvent recovery and similar opportunities either conducted by EnviroServ itself or through compliant service providers. Full traceability is provided to ensure that all waste is being treated and/or disposed of using compliant operators.
EnviroServ’s Hazmat team conducts full site assessment before any work is done. This is to ascertain the risks pertaining to the work, as well as what work methods and personal protective equipment are required. Risk assessments are conducted ahead of any work done with Health and Safety Plans compiled for any complex work.
