Tank cleaning is highly specialised as it often means working in confined spaces. EnviroServ offers assistance both on projects done on a planned basis with significant up-front planning
and coordination with the client, and in reaction to unplanned breakdown emergencies.
INDUSTRIAL
VACUUMING
Wash bays, tanks, bund areas, dams and ponds can silt up over time and require desludging. Industrial vacuuming is the large-scale removal of waste sludges and liquids that are transferred for further processing or disposal. Using
our fleet of vacuum units and pumps, EnviroServ removes the sludge or liquids so that the vessel can be put back into use. The company’s suite of industrial vacuuming equipment enables us to tackle jobs both big and small in
a cost-effective manner.
REMEDIATION OF DAMS AND PONDS
EnviroServ has specialised skills required to remediate dams and ponds which have a limited lifespan or may become compromised and leak, or need to be emptied so that their liners can
be replaced. EnviroServ has extensive experience in emptying and cleaning dams and ponds; whether the contents are liquid or sludge, as well as whether the liner system needs to be removed or not.

ASBESTOS
STRIPPING
As the first company in Africa to achieve EU accreditation as an Expert Supervisor for asbestos removal, EnviroServ is qualified to handle removals and safe disposals for international as well as local clients. Our Hazardous Waste
Services team will advise on how best this can be managed in accordance with South African law and we are able to secure expedited approval of work plans by the department of labour. We offer a rapid-deployment, start-to-finish clean-up
service for raw or processed asbestos, including facia boards, panelling, ceilings and boiler cladding.
