TANK CLEANING
Tank Cleaning forms part of our Industrial Cleaning Services portfolio. This
type of work is highly specialised and requires skilled staff often working in
confined spaces. A significant amount of tank cleaning work originates from
the petrochemical industry, fuel storage depots, as well as the broader com-
munity of chemical processing industries. Projects range from the cleaning of
fixed or floating roof tanks bulk crude oil storage tanks to chemical tanks and
reaction vessels. Tank cleaning projects often coincide with, and are critical to,
statutory inspection and maintenance of storage tanks, or during shut downs/
turnarounds. Projects of this kind are typically done on a planned basis with
significant up-front planning and coordination with the client and other mainte-
nance service providers. Work is also done in reaction to unplanned breakdown
emergencies when a blockage or sudden tank failure interrupts production. Dur-
ing such events, quick response times and a short delivery time are essential.
