| Notification of the coming into effect of the National Environmental Management: Waste Act 2008: |
EnviroServ’s core business is to provide an integrated waste management service. To paraphrase group CEO, Des Gordon: “our successes at EnviroServ challenge us to ensure that we continue to grow capacity without reducing standards. This challenge applies to all of our operations; we endeavour to adopt our clients’ strategic objectives as our own”. We go a step further by offering advice and solutions that are both cost effective and ensure clients’ compliance with the law.
It is therefore appropriate to inform you that on the 1st July 2009, the National Environmental Management: Waste Act 2008(Act No: 59 of 2008) came into effect. We advise clients and other stakeholders to familiarise themselves with legislation and its implications. |
